What is a GraphQL query?

configApplications, configuration, configurations, session, sessions

In GraphQL, there are two primary operations to perform: QUERIES and MUTATIONS.

Queries fetch data – like a GET in REST.

Mutations change data – like a DELETE or a POST in REST.

In GraphQL, queries fetch data. A query is a GraphQL operation to retrieve particular data from the server.
