Create and run a session?

What is a check Session?


A session represents a single or a group of checks created for a person or business.

Creation and session monitoring are available on the Session page.


Creating a new session

1. Sessions

In the Navigation menu choose "Sessions".

2. Hit "+" button

Click on the "+" button in the lower right corner to initiate a new session.

3. Session Details

In the Session Details, enter the Code and Description. If the session Code is not entered, the system will automatically generate it.

Furthermore, based on the session Code, the system generate a QR code on Certificate. QR code provides additional Certification validity assurance.

If the user checks the "Is Testing" box Check Session results are provided without spending a credit. Users can use prearranged test data or enter optional data. Reload after a few minutes to get results.

If the user checks the "Wait for the results" box system will process all data before displaying results.

4. Configuration

Next, after entering the Code and Description choose the check Configuration from a list of available checks. The list of available checks depends on the subscription type.

5. Test entities

Test sessions are free to use, and have predefined output, which is ideal for automated tests.

There are two types of test entities:

  • 1. Person test entity - used to test person checks for a single person.

  • 2. Business test entity - used to test business checks for a single company.

6. Person/Bussines

In Person/Bussines enter all details required. The user can enter Communications, Addresses, and Documents to get more accurate results.

Enter all required "*" data and hit Finish.

7. Monitor progress

In Sessions, the user can monitor the progress of created sessions depending on the subscription and check configuration.

This means that the system monitors your session for a period of up to 6 months. During that period XRAY will perform a check and display results.

If monitoring is initiated user don't need to refresh in order to display results.

8. Results list

All check sessions display on the Sessions page.

Search is available using the traditional "Type to search..." box, Check status, and Session status.

In Check status, and Session status search user can choose one or more search parameters to monitor sessions or check status.

It is possible to use buttons to narrow search by Person, Business, Testing, Monitoring, and Pending checks or its combination.

9. Review the results

To review the check session results click on the desired session. The next window shows information about the session.

Review check results and session status, and if all is OK "Print certificate".

If results need review hit the Review button. This happend when the system provides more check results so the user needs to manually review them ne by one.

Manually review

Why to review manually?

What to do if the check displays 100 results? Then user has to manually check every single result and mark it as Passed or Not Passed. This is because a user has to be sure about the result of the session check.

To manually review choose desired check result to open. In the Result window review the result, type in the remark, and hit Mark Not Passed or Mark Passed.

If the result matches the Session input mark the result as Mark Not Passed. An icon in front of the name will change to True positive.

If the result do not match the Session input mark the result as Mark Passed. An icon in front of the name will change to False positive.

10. Rerun session

User can initiate a session RERUN.

From left menu choose Session.

Next, from list of sessions pick one to rerun.

In right upper corner click on the RERUN button and system will initiate session rerun.

Users can choose another check configuration for the same session depending on the subscription plan.

Important

If test session is initiated do not forget to reload Sessions to see results.
